Guided tours of the Eco Station introduce visitors to a host of exotic rescued wildlife, from tropical fish to tortoises, from parrots to pythons. Each tour is led by an expert Eco Station staff member who explains the habits and history of hundreds of rescued exotic animals. Only guided tours of the exhibits are available at this time, for both the safety of our visitors and our animals. Visitors on the tours will have the chance to meet several of the exotic rescued animals up close and personal. The public tour also features exhibits on innovative approaches to addressing the challenges facing the environment, and offers tips on how to help save the planet through small changes at home and at school. Exhibits include Oceania, US Fish and Wildlife, Reptile Kingdom, and Bird Paradise. The tour lasts one hour, and visitors are served on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations are required, however tours can be filled. Groups over twenty children are required to schedule a private tour. Public tours depart every half hour, with the last tour departing one hour before closing.
